Tips
This page offers a few tips, tricks, and shortcuts that
you can use with the AudioSpin Streaming Media Recorder.
Tip 1
You can change the volume level quickly by clicking on the
blue volume indicators on the right-hand side of the readout screen.
Using the VOL+ and VOL- buttons only change the volume level by 1% with each
click. You can click on the volume indicator bars to quickly set the
volume level anywhere between 0 and 100%.
Tip 2
You can click on the scrolling station identifier at the
bottom of the readout screen to view the home web page for the station that is
currently being played. This works while listening to live
music, or cached music. Clicking this will activate your
web browser and take you to the default home page for the broadcaster.
Tip 3
You can click the Capture button to record
the currently playing track, even if Record Mode is not
enabled. When Record Mode is enabled (by depressing the
Record button), all songs are automatically recorded and captured
to your hard drive. This is great for previewing tracks before you decide
to permanently record them. Listen to Live or Cached songs, and then just
press the Capture button to keep the ones you want.
Whenever a song is permanently captured to your hard drive, it is placed
in your configured recording directory. This can be configured by
pressing the Options button. In most cases, the default
will be under your My Documents\My Music\AudioSpin Music directory.
